Fina Travels with the Winds

SPAIN - TENERIFE

YEAR ROUND SEASONALITY WITH WIND AND WAVES

TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS

The biggest and most populated island of the Canarian archipelago, Tenerife also has the highest point in altitude with the Teide at 3,718m. Mountain climbing and biking around those heights make the island all the more enjoyable with spectacular views.

The island can be reached with direct flights from most of the major cities in Europe.

The main Kite, Windsurfing and Wingfoiling spots are located in the South of the island, just 10 minutes away from the Tenerife Sur airport.

EL MEDANO AND CABEZO

The historically world famous Windsurfing spots of Cabezo and El Médano, now are also popular to Kitesurfers and Wingfoilers.

El Médano has a beach with designated areas for Surfing, Windsurfing and Wingfoiling, and Kitesurfing. Most schools and lessons take place on this beach, the conditions being relatively easy:

Cabezo is a mythic spot among Windsurfers with great winds and waves, making it suitable mostly for expert riders. The whole bay fills up with wave surfers in days of light wind and swell, suitable also for beginners
